Ministry Update from Peter and Abby in the Philippines, South East Asia

Dear Friend,

Greetings from South East Asia! Last Sunday I was preaching in two Churches in Cavite City, Philippines. Hundreds of people came to the meetings and there was a great response to the gospel message. The first church was Caridad UNIDA Christian Center where Rev. Ruel Camia is leading a dynamic growing church with more than 50 cell groups!! Even in the Philippines that is a lot. This was the second time we visited this church and each time we have been there, we have had a very hearty welcome and great service. The church is on fire!

The second church we came to was Heartbeat of Jesus Christian Ministries. Rev. Henry Castillo who is leading this pioneering church has a passion for the poor homeless street kids. True to it's name, this church has a heartbeat of Jesus! I was preaching a message about hope and healing in Jesus and many people wanted prayer.

In both churches there were testimonies about what God did. After the services the churches fed us with Filipino food, yummy!

Friday night I preached at an open air concert at the Church by the High Way United Methodist Church in Bacoor, Cavite. I was sick with colds, fever and a sore throat, nevertheless it was a great night with many people and my fever disappeared when I walked on stage! It is a great pleasure to work with the young people of CBTH.

There have been many churches who wanted me to come and preach in their church, so we have extended our ministry schedule till end of January here in the Philippines.

Please pray for us. Please pray that God will provide for us financial in any way. Pray that the Blood of Jesus will be upon us and cover us.

On November 12, we will be having two services in General Trias, Cavite. It is one of the areas that have been affected severely by the recent typhoon in the Philippines. Many families have lost their homes due to strong wind, land slides, and overflowing of the river. We will be donating rice and clothing to the families.
